As we can now embed video in our posts (via Youtube) would it be possible to create direct audio links as well - maybe from MySpace?

I think that's a great idea, Alan. Myspace has an embedded player, hasn't it? If it can work with youtube...

sorry guys it iant actually possible to embed any of the myspace music players onto the site as they will not work since the server is in myspace itself. :(

Does youtube require video for posting?
Even if it does, putting the audio of interest up on youtube with sham "video" that might be as little as a still pic of anything might be a temporary workaround.
Maybe? I'm not very technical ...
