I finally got the list together. I do want to explain myself first though. The 'Like' and 'Dislike' columns are pretty self explanatory, but the 'Neutral' column should be sorted out. The 'Neutral' column are songs that I either feel are just ok or songs that I used to like or disliked and they grew on me or vice versa. Sorry if I missed a song or two. I have 54 tunes in the dislike column. These are songs I would change the radio station if they came on, but even then, only a couple are unbearable (Revolution #9, Wild Honey Pie, etc,,). The Neutral column are tunes that I get into sometimes and other times i'd rather not hear. It goes both ways.
I was curious and that sucked putting that list together. Oh well, now I know.

So your like column
is longer than your dislike column. You may stay here then. ;) You too blmeanie.
Well now we know where you stand.
I guess I can't say that you dislike more than you like... which is what it seemed to me before.
You are in the "I pretty much like the Beatles" category.
I am in the category that I like everything. Some might call it "blind devotion." Oh well, I don't care.

You too blmeanie.
Thanks!
Even looking at my list, my headings probably would be different than Tkitna's
My likes - self explanatory
Neutral - will likely listen if it comes on, enjoy
Dislikes - many I would turn off, some I might listen, just not all the time

I love the band, its just that after 30+ years of listening to them, i've grown tired of some of their songs. If I dont hear them for awhile, its always better. I rarely ever listen to any of their albums anymore unless its for research, but I still love em. Peace.
I was curious and that sucked putting that list together.
can you please sort them in alphabetical order ha2ha
Quote from: Gary910I am in the category that I like everything. Some might call it "blind devotion." Oh well, I don't care.
I'm pretty close to that. For me, Beatles songs are like people. I can find something to like in almost anyone. Some I love, some I like more than others but every once in a while there's someone I'm better off avoiding. And that one is named "Revolution 9". ;D
The way I feel about the Beatles would be best explained with the old family reference. I can talk bad about them, but dont let anybody else do so.
there are only these Beatle songs I dislike;
Ballad Of John & Joko
Old Brown Shoe
Long Long Long
Rocky Raccoon
Rev # 9
Only A Northern Song
Its All Too Much
Dont Pass Me By
Honey Pie
How's it going tkitna? I hope all is well with you. WOW, this is a very interesting thread. For me personally, the only song (If you can call it a song) that I like/dislike is "Revolution 9." I may like the song today but I'll dislike it tomorrow and vice versa. Today, I dislike "Revolution 9" (For the 1000th time) because the bells sounds reminds me of an alarm clock. Take care tkitna.

There the ones I find surprising in various degrees. Amazed you don't like Drive my car and slightly less amazed you don't like Back in the U.S.S.R. YKMYN (LUPTN) is a bit of harmless fun. How can you not like that?
I even like Revolution 9. It took me a long time to do so, but I do. I admit, I don't put it on to dance to, but in the context of "The Beatles" I enjoy it.

ha2ha Dancing to that would be quite a feat! I guess I'd have to give it a "1" because it has no beat and it's not easy to dance to. ;)

You're farther along than I am, I guess, Gary! I still can't get used to that. For me, it's right up there with the Who's cover of James Brown's "Please Please Please." After all these years, I still can't bear to listen to either one of them.
Maybe in the future, as a Beatles fan of longer tenure, I'll revise my opinion of Revolution 9. :)

ha2ha ha2ha ha2ha Hmmm...I bet you're fun to dance with! Take care.
I think that deep inside everybody has this like/dislike list. Others just may say "I don't like this as much as other songs" instead of "dislike".

LOL -- very true, Kelley! Although with the amount of chardonnay that would likely be required, I probably
wouldn't remember, as BeatlesForever mentioned! ;D
Ugh, getting all kinds of horrid college flashbacks now of stupid things I did under the influence... ;)

Hi Normandie! How are ya? I hope all is well with you. If I didn't remember anything the next day, I always knew that I had a great time the night before. However, I just didn't like hearing from people the day after as to what I did while under the influence the night before. I always knew that I did something stupid when people would stare at me and laugh their a*ses off! Take care.
Revolution 9 names a few dances... The Watusi, The Twist...
