I didnt want people to think I was advertising a future concert or anything  ha2ha

BUT, I was thinking about this during a long drive home the other day. Paul obviously cared about the boy, supposedly writing a song for him and also paying visits and playing and caring for him. Julian mentioned that Paul seemed more like a father to him back in those days than John.

SO how come, with all this love for the guy, Paul hasn't invited him up to play some songs? It doesn't have to be in a Beatle-y sort of way, more like, "hey these are some of your dads songs that we used to sing together, I think it would be a fun evening to have you come up and sing some of them with me."

I think that would be a magical concert.
"Someone told me a few minutes ago they saw John walking on the street once wearing a button saying "I Love Paul." And this girl said she asked him, "Why are you wearing a button that says ' I Love Paul'? He said "Because I love Paul."

I think this may have happened in the privacy of their own homes. I like to think so, anyway. A bit like Dhani Harrison talks about 'Uncle Ringo'. However, the reality may well be that folk drift apart, good intentions never quite come to fruition, the busy-ness of life goes on....
...once there was a way to get back homeward ...

There were rumours of Julian joining Paul, George and Ringo on stage for the Live Aid concert. It never happened. Well, not in public.

I would bet that both of them would love that. I think they are still in contact occasionally. I think the reason they don't do it, is because they both have their separate careers and don't want the obvious comparisons.

Why would Julian want to go and have people compare him? He already gets too much of that. He has forged out a career that as much as possible is "Julian Lennon" and not "Julian Lennon, son of famous Beatle John Lennon".
