Interesting picture this. I guess not writing a song together, but rehearsing a lick?

I missed this when you posted it. Love it!

This one was captioned as being the van The Beatles used in 1963. Not sure if that's right; it doesn't look like the one I've seen in other pictures. But I like the picture anyway.  :)

Oh, wow. I started this thread in 2004 and it is still going strong. I just got back to this site after such a long time... Still a big Beatles fan! ;)

Has anyone on here seen the "Beatles Story App"? on iphone and ipad? I downloaded it last night and i think it's amazing, great artwork and the story is fantastic, they also have a quiz which really tests your knowledge.

i've included the link here https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/the-beatles-story/id569176209?mt=8

I also took some screen shots of the artwork from their facebook page, i thought this post would like to have a look

Just been reading a piece about The Beatles at the BBC website ...

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-18449107

and saw this picture. which I had never seen before ....

Seems strange that John is wearing his glasses in that shot, which I assume is during a TV recording (why else would they be gathered round a cannon?!)

I came across the same article a few weeks ago. The caption states that the photo is from the first recording session with Ringo in 1962. That seemed wrong to me. Why would there be a cannon in the studio at EMI? I've been on a mission ever since to place this and I finally found out tonight that it was taken October 17, 1962 at the Grenada TV Centre. That was the date of their first TV appearance and the show was "People and Places". I assume this was from the afternoon rehearsal since John's wearing his specs.

Hello Goodbye

This is a new one to me:

Where are the Central Park building?

There are buildings in Central Park and this photo is identified as being taken in the park at one of the stock image sites. I'm not inclined to go digging for it right now. But there is also footage that indicates it's on a "a New York street", February 7th. That would mean it's not in the park. If you have a definitive source do tell.
