What was the last Beatles Item you bought?

Penny Lane · Dec 17, 2009, 02:09 AM

This wasn't a purchase, but I nabbed a free Restoration Hardware catalogue today. Apparently they're selling Beatles stuff there and there's a pic of the Beatles on the cover (the famous B&W pic we see all the time now, I think it's a Dezo Hoffman photo).

^^Heather, that is so cool, the engraved ipod! i'm sooooooooooooo jealous!

for Christmas I got a Sgt. Pepper blanket, a poster, a bag that says The Bealtes on it, and a Beatles book. I also got a turntable (and CD player, etc.), so now i have an excuse to keep my dad's old Beatles albums that I stole, because we can listen to them!

I'm getting a new I-pod because my old one died on me last night. Very sad day, I couldn't believe it. $:-\$
But I'm getting it engraved with I Me Mine on the back.

I thought it was cool. I just wish I already had it, I need my music.

Bummer about your iPod, I hope your new one comes soon! Getting it engraved sounds cool too. I still have my old iPod from my undergraduate days; it's so outdated the screen's not even in color. ha2ha

Recently I bought the Beatles' 365 Days book. I've flipped halfway through it and it's very nice...many pics I haven't seen before, both candid and professional-looking photos.

I also bought Paul McCartney's "Good Evening New York City" deluxe 2-CD/2-DVD set from Best Buy yesterday. It's marvelous--the first DVD reminds me so much of being at Coachella. The performances are really good and the video is better edited than Paul's previous concert films. Highly recommended for Paul/Wings/Beatles fans out there.

LOL...... Well, there are still shots of some attractive ladies, but really not as much as before (IMO). The audience shots are far less annoying (some are even truly adorable, like a daddy dancing with his little girl), and there is much more focus on Paul and the band. Thumbs up to that!
