For my birthday I got

The Beatles Ed Sullivan DVD

and during the day I treated myself to this nice book by Julian

I bought the deluxe edition of Help!, and the "Complete Beatles Chronicle" by Mark Lewisohn, both on eBay. I also bought the Beatles, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr encyclopedias by Bill Harry from a used bookstore. And the book "A Date With a Beatle" by Judith Kristen.

It took about four months of my savings, but it was well worth it.

Two original, complete and unused sets of Gibson Sonomatic Monel strings from the early sixties, i.e., the very ones John Lennon (=and probably McCartney and Harrison) used to buy at Hessy's in LIverpool by 1960-61...
