I loved Pattie Boyd's book. I haven't read Mary McCartney's yet.

My mono box set arrived yesterday. It was fun just unpacking these Lilliputian LP's. Now I kind of want the real things. One thing always seems to lead to another!

The U.S. version of the 'Help!' soundtrack. That's the one I grew up with and I miss those movie music instrumentals. Of course, the U.K. version is great, but it was nice to get the other one as well.

I finally, after several months of checking the local stores, found the remastered Help! CD. I'd just about given up. When the remasters first came out I bought them one a a time because of budget constraints, but Help! seemed elusive. I finally found it yesterday and couldn't resist a cheer!   :)

I ordered Here, There and Everywhere by Geoff Emerick just now from Amazon.com

Next two items I really want are

The Beatles in Mono box set

and

Recording The Beatles by Kevin Ryan and Brian Kehew
They were the most brilliant, powerful, lovable, popular group on the planet. - Q, 1995.

Thing is, I wasn´t gonna buy it. I was like, what´s the point? I´d always be listening to the Stereo Box. But after listening to some tracks off youtube, I got convinced.
