You know you're a Beatles fan when you're sitting in the cinema, waiting for the trailers to pass before the movie comes on... and the front of a boat in one of the trailers reminds you of George's top hat in HELP!... I think I need some bloody HELP if I'm noticing things as obscure at that!

My point exactly. And I mean, there are so many other things that annoy me way more (for example, "Aren't they all dead?" "No... Just two of them." "No, three." "What?" "Have you heard Ringo sing?") but the "koo koo kachoo" thing always gives me a tic.

OMG, exactly! Why does everyone think that all the beatles are dead! Just because some footage of them is in black and white, doesn't mean it was filmed in the 40's!

You know you're a fan when your Comm. App. teacher assigns a project to make a video on windows movie maker using your favorite song, but it has to inspire someone to do something. I chose 'You never give me your money'

I haven't made the video yet, but it's due in May! I'm excited.

Yeah my mum was a little insulting without meaning to... she does listen to The Beatles sometimes but for obvious reasons regarding my dad, she doesn't particularly love them.
And I couldn't believe it once when I think "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away" came on, and she listened to John singing and said "is that Paul?" And I said "NO, it's John!" and she replied "well I don't know, I can't tell the difference." So I indulged a little on how John's voice is raspy and hoarse, whereas Paul is a bit of a sweetie vocal-wise (minus the screaming!), and she said "well I can never tell. I don't think their voices are amazing anyway. They can sing a tune, but that's about it."

This is very ironic, because we were JUST discussing it on this thread, but my friends were over earlier and we were playing Beatles rock band, and my one friend was singing "I Am The Walrus" and she kept singing Ko ko kachoo! Even though the game displays the lyrics correctly. She kept arguing with me and I finally had to pull out my Magical Mystery Tour CD and show her the booklet with the lyrics!
