Beatles - an Anthropology
« on: August 11, 2006, 03:27:17 PM »

     JUST FOR FUN.
Anthro is a hobby of mine, and I've tried to create a family tree for Beatle albums. You'll see I've put Let It Be as the direct descandant of Rubber Soul, rather than the   pop and concept families. The White Album I struggled with (they all cross-bred after all), but in the end I put it in the pop family, but it is the bastard son of all of them probably. Only vertical lines show descent (I'm not saying Sgt Pepper owes more to Rubber Soul than Revolver) Anyone do anything radically different? (if anyone cares :))

After an extra-ordinary meeting of the West Finchley Beatles Anthroplogical Society (myself and Mary Jane) and an intense  re-examination of the fossil evidence (ie getting wrecked and playing some tunes) it has been decided to reclassify The White Album into its own family group beatlus beatlus, as it owes something to all but everything to none.
A further meeting is expected tonight.
