Girls: A Question
« on: July 30, 2004, 05:14:30 AM »

Just a question. If you had a chance to 'be' with Paul McCartney as he is NOW, would you go for it? Or is he just to old to even consider it at this point? Just wondering!! Oh, or Ringo too for that matter. ;D

Why just address this to "girls" (as you put it)?

Gay men might fancy Paulie, y'know!

Oh, yes, to answer your question: Age never has anything to do with these things. I prefer a rather less self-centered individual than Paul McCartney.

Sorry. Would you rather I said women? Yeah, that wasn't very politically correct of me was it?

I have freaked out my friends and my mum on multiple occasions when I told them I'd "be" with both Paul and Ringo even though they're quite a bit older than me. It's become kind of an in joke with my friends that I wont date anyone who's not old enough to be my father because of that. I don't think I could pass up a chance like that, I mean, it's Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, they're friggin legends! Plus they aren't too hard on the eyes either, Paul still looks really nice for his age (and so does Ringo...just not as good as he used to).

Nahh, I wouldn't. He was a cutie back in the '60s and '70s, but now he's just too old... that's not saying he isn't good looking for his age, though.

Interesting answers! Thanks. I don't think I could be with a 60something year old guy, but then I think if Paul was actuallly standing there in front of me! Who knows. I'd close the lights, listen to his voice and pretend he was young again!! ;D

I asked my 21 year old daughter who has been in love with Paul since she was 4.  She didn't think she could possibly 'go for it', tho I was amused at her first impulse being that the old boy would need some Viagra.

I told her I wasn't looking for a performance critique, just a yes or no.  I THINK she said no, but I'm still not certain.  I think she reserved her answer until she meets him in those circumstances.  :)

Hmm, that's a good question. Even though he's not as attractive as he used to be, he is PAUL MCCARTNEY, after all, and as Maccalvr said, i could pretend he was 20 again. :)

Yes. I don't like his new wife anyway. But I still would date him as he is now.

I would for sure!!!!
(although I like young guys and I'd never have a boyfriend who is much older than me, but Paul is an exeption)
