the interview was great...except the fact that Larry King interuppted Paul 5 times...

The clips before and after the comercial breaks were amazing... and emotional...

The monumental plaques were beautiful!

Larry: So George....
Paul: This is Ringo!

Hehehe  :)

It was nice, Yoko was on her best behavior.  :o You can tell John's death is still hard on Paul, though. I enjoyed it.

Thanks, everyone, for your comments. I missed the show, so I just played the YouTube clips. The moments you mention weren't on the snippets I've seen. Still, it's great to see the four of them together and hear the affection in their voices for one another.

BlueMeanie, I appreciate your comments about Larry King. Even in just the bits I saw, I saw Paul, veteran of a billion interviews, save him by clarifying the question, or Ringo jumping in with some anecdote that was actually interesting. So, good on our lads. They're still top quality. :)

^ Thanks, Swine. I'll keep looking for the whole show as well.

Raxo, thanks for the pics! Very nice. Is it just me, or is Sir Paul looking a little misty?

Yoko is the only person who could make Olivia look tall. :)

... I was shaking my head too... I didn't think it was the best of ideas for him to say that  :-/

I enjoyed it.

Yeah, me too! Paul and Ringo were great!  :) I liked Ringo's comment about the "three brothers" and all that... so sweet.
And as Blue Meanie said, Olivia was very nice (I don't think I ever saw her in an interview before).

Thanks for the pictures raxo! I actually missed this part because the phone rang! ... but I recorded it for K_E so I'll be able to see it when I watch it with her  :)

This lot might appreciate this:

McCARTNEY UPSTAGES HILTON

Socialite PARIS HILTON's first interview since her release from jail was overshadowed by a SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY gig on the same street. Hilton served 23 days of a 45-day sentence after being found guilty of violating her probation from a drink-driving arrest last year (06). The hotel heiress was interviewed on CNN's Larry King Live on Wednesday (27Jun07). But unlike the majority of interviews, her one-on-one with King was pre-recorded because of a nearby concert featuring MCCartney. The former Beatle performed a special in-store gig on Wednesday at Sunset Boulevard record store Amoeba Music - the same street as the CNN building. And the large crowds eager to see the music legend meant Hilton's interview was filmed earlier, reports Access Hollywood.
