John Lennon stamp soon to be available in US

I was so excited when I saw this, but it's not available quite yet. So I got the Mr. Rogers stamp LOL.

Why have they crossed out the word “forever” on the stamps? Is there something you’re not telling us?

Probably to keep people from printing out counterfeit "stamps." (Not that many people even us the USPS much anymore.)

Yes, I’m sure that’s why but in this current climate it’s a valid question!

I’m so glad you posted about this Kathy. We don’t collect stamps anymore but we love using neat ones and who is neater than John and Fred? (Seriously!)

It is available as of today 9/7.  There was a great kick-off event in Central Park this morning attended by Yoko, Sean, Bob Gruen, and people from all over the United States.

It's not as blue as this scan came out but gray. It's got a neat ethereal effect.
