These tapes up for auction are raising eyebrows in Beatle discussion circles.

Most interest is in what is supposedly a demo of Dear Prudence from 1967 (which would spoil the India-Prudence Farrow story) although what’s not clear is exactly when the demo was made. It’s assumed to be 67 due to other things on the tape but that’s not iron clad. Also not clear is how developed the demo is.
But beyond that there is some bizarre looking stuff on the track listing. (George doing an “album” with the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band for instance or a version of him doing While My Guitar Gently Weeps with Jimmy Page)
If anyone has a spare $30,000 to make a bid you might be in with a chance to get it.
