I think I might've posted about her on another thread, but Nellie is so good she deserves a thread of her own. So here goes.
Nellie McKay's debut album, Get Away From Me, came out in 2004 with insanely good reviews. She mostly sings jazz with a bit of rap thrown in here and there. My favorite songs of hers are I Wanna Get Married, Ding Dong, Won't U Please B Nice, and Clonie, but all of them are good, really.
I highly reccomnd her. Her new album comes out October 18th and contains duets with Cyndi Lauper and k.d. lang.
