I was just on facebook and found out that my friend and brother Marshall (PC31) has passed away.  I don't know any details, but I'm devastated.  Prayers go out to his kids and family.

Keep rocking brother.  Love ya.

I'm sad to learn of this, Todd.  It seemed he recently found some happiness in his life and was proud of his son's accomplishments.

My condolences to his family and friends.

No! This can't be true! Oh no. Shivers. Very sad to read this news.

As soon as I became a member on this forum ten years ago, it's was inevitable to run into Marshall sooner or later. We had some great discussions and although I didn't always agree with him and the way he formulated his opinions, we were online pals and exchanged some gifts in real life. More recently we went out with a bang and lost contact, although I noticed he was still here occasionnally. I will remember all the good things we shared, the knowledge and laughs. Really very sad and a great loss. My condolances and thoughts to his friends (especially Todd as he was the closest to Marshall on here), his family and loved ones.

Very sad to hear that Marshall has passed away - he truly was one of a kind. Having spent many hours chatting and even getting drunk with him on here in the past, I got to know him pretty well - I'm sure his wonderful spiky humour and passion for music will be sadly missed by everyone he knew and my thoughts and condolences go out to his friends and family at this time.

I couldn't put it better than Todd - keep on rocking my friend.

I neglected to offer my condolences to Marshall's family and all his friends when I posted last night. I was just so shocked. Though I didn't know Marshall as well as those who have been here longer, I knew him well enough that it seems unreal he could be gone. When I first came here I spent some time reading old posts, to get a feel for the place. I thought he was very funny and I told him so when he sent me a nice "how's it going" type PM a few months later. He had that John Lennon way of playing around with words.

When I saw this topic my heart skipped a beat. I couldn't believe! So sad!
Pc was with us since the first days of the forums, I remember him since 2002, when he registered in older version of forums as soon as I launched the Beatles forums. (Al do remember) He used to be an interesting man, sometimes we didn't understand him, sometimes he didn't understand us, but he was a good man indeed.

Condolences to you Todd, to Marshall's family and friends!!!

I know what you mean Dmitry, I thought he would be around forever - he was such a unique character and will be sorely missed.

Wow, that's quite a shock... We've both been on this board since 2004. I think I can speak for the both of us and say that we never really were each other's favorite board member, but I never felt that he wasn't a nice guy, just that we were somehow on different wavelengths (if that makes sense)... From as far as you can judge a person by some posts on an online forum, he seemed like a very authentic and passionate person to me. Even from those really short sentences he often posted you could tell that he had to be quite a unique character. It's a shame that we'll never see those pop up again.

My condolances to everyone who knew him.

Wow - that certainly puts a perspective on things. I think I always got on Ok with PC. 'twas him that opened my mailbox thread. But to be honest most of the time I couldn't make head nor tail of what he was on about.
Always struck me as a hard working family man, maybe at times wandering too close to the edge of those roofs of his. He was unique and he will be missed. We lost one of our own. RIP and condolences to all.

I didn't have the pleasure to know him very well (as far as a person can be known in an internet forum), but my impression was that he was a funny guy. My condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace Marshall.

Spent a few hilarious night circa 2007 on the Moondogs' chat. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

Cya around Marshall.
