I’m hearing good things about the quality and comprehensiveness of this set. And while expensive, not as bad as some of Paul’s recent deluxe sets and with more stuff. Things like the “elements”versions which isolate certain parts of the song sound interesting.
It’s not the sort of thing I’d normally buy, although the upcoming White Album release might tempt me, but I’m glad these detailed curated sets with lots of outtakes, additional tracks and alternative versions are becoming available. It’s historical archive stuff now.
