My twitter feed is full of announcements of a new Stones studio album "Blue and Lonesome" to be released 2 December. It apparently will feature Eric Clapton. Wonder if this (and the title) means they're going for a rootsier blues feel.

That would have been great. But I'll settle for Eric. I'm actually quite keen to hear the album. Can't say I've felt that about the stones for a long long time.

Micks voice sounds different
So much so I actually like it

At least it wasn't a Christmas album

I've had a few listens on Spotify. I like quite a bit of it. I think it's a pretty good effort from the young fellas.
