Veteran Beatles DJ Ken Michaels is celebrating Yoko Ono's recent 82nd birthday by giving away on his website, a combo package of two new releases, the photo book "See Hear Yoko" from Harper Collins by famous photographer Bob Gruen and Jody Denberg, and the new tribute CD compilation "Cut Pieces" from MainMan records. The new book showcases photos taken by rock photographer Bob Gruen, longtime friend of the Lennons, mixed with quotes from interviews with Yoko taken by veteran Texas DJ/Journalist Jody Denberg. The photos range from Yoko's time with John, and after his death. Among the many highlights are pictures from recording sessions for the John/Yoko/Elephants Memory album "Some Time In New York City," Yoko's "Feeling The Space," plus the rehearsals for the "One-To-One" benefit concert, Yoko's 1974 tour of Japan, the 1975 Grammy Awards, the "Double Fantasy" period, Yoko's European tour in 1985, photos from the Yoko videos for "My Man" and "Hell In Paradise." The photos also include the 1986 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame when Yoko, Sean, Julian, George & Ringo were there to induct the Beatles, as well as when Yoko, Sean and Paul were there to induct John as a solo-artist in 1994Fans of the Beatles and Yoko can win both prizes in a contest that runs through March 2, 2015.
