Will there be a live album for his 74 tour?
« on: July 18, 2007, 01:37:01 PM »

I think I heard about it on the George section of my Beatles news site a few years ago & I'm looking forward to listening to it.  I believe his vocals weren't clear at the time during his 74 U. S. tour, as well as the fans not liking him changing the lyrics to Beatle classics.  Hopefully there will be a live album before too long for fans like myself since all there is are photographs & some bootlegs.

I've not heard them but it would be hard to imagine them being anything else. I can't see any advantage to George or his estate in releasing what was the low point of a not so high career. Like Let It Be the protaganists probably wish it would curl up and die.

I haven't heard any bootlegs personally, but hopefully the Harrison estate will do it, because it's his only solo U. S. tour.

I'd like to see a DVD of his U.S. tour. But like Kevin said, Their really is no advantage of the Harrison estate releasing a DVD or CD of one of his lowest points in his solo career. His vocal's were shot, Dark Horse the album wasn't doing so well and he wasn't selling out his shows like Paul and Wings did in 1975-1976.

I think George didn't release a live album from the tour because he knew how bad it went down.
