I agree.
And what about he as musician?: bass in Something (George), electric piano part in Come Together (John), guitar riff and drums intro in Ticket To Ride (John), mellotron in Strawberry Fields Forever (John), piano part in Long Long Long (George) or is John who plays there? Im not sure but it seems more Johns style (its a grat moment ot music, anyway), drums in The Ballad Of John And Yoko (John) ... and all are great works from Paul, between his best ever.
