I sat and watched the whole thing last night!!!! It was sooo cool! When he started playing Get Back I screamed so loud I woke my whole family up It was great though!
^ Hehe, I'll have to watch it tomorrow, coz I don't want to wake my family up and I probably would if I watched it now
I went to go watch "Bruno" and Paul McCartney flashed on the screen for several seconds. I just GAAAAASSSPED out loud in the theater when he popped up--as I ALWAYS do whenever I see Macca unexpectedly. It's insane. I know I need to quit freaking out because it is embarrassing, but it's like a knee-jerk reaction that's been ingrained in me for years.Me + Paul = I have issues.
That happens to me a lot too. I was listening to the radio the other day and the DJ was listing off artist's names that were coming up and I half screamed when he said Paul McCartney, I wasn't even paying close attention to the radio. Just his name triggers it. It happens with all the Beatles and it's worse with George. They play Let It Be and Here Comes the Sun a lot on my radio station and every time I have to stop everything and listen even though I have the CD's and have heard them a thoudand times.
You still have the first magazine you got of The Beatles when you first got into them
Haha, I guess we are all addicts for sure. Even if I hear a snippet of a Beatles song somewhere, I lose it...much to the confusion of non-Beatles peeps around me.
...when you listen to their music at any given opportunity and strangely enough, you never seem to get sick of them.
You get insanely excited when you go to the store to get George's Let It Roll Cd and you keep telling the guy in the check out why George was the best beatle!
When you are talking to your cousin about them and your grandma comes in and says 'I really think you should get over The Beatles' and then you and your cousin sing some Eminem and Lil Wayne for her. The she says 'You know, The Beatles were nice young men.'
