Live at the BBC
« on: May 12, 2021, 01:16:13 AM »

There's no way these songs were performed live at the time they were broadcast. I'm doubtful that it was even the Beatles playing the instruments here, although obviously they were singing. The playing is just too good, particularly the drumming, to be Ringo.

Sorry? Are you serious? It’s not April 1

They weren’t necessarily done live but the Beatles did pre record them in the BBC studio. So next best to live. And it was the Beatles. Although some bits might have been flown in here and there from the studio recordings.
