Age, gender, and Country?

Just a thought, but I've recently noticed that, in conversation about certain topics, it can be quite difficult when you don't know where someone is coming from with regards to Beatles experience. Knowing the age, and the Country where you live can play a large part in this. Sometimes I don't know whether I'm talking to a 15 year old girl from Atlanta, or a 45 year old bloke from Liverpool! It can make a difference in how you approach someone's argument.

I know some people would prefer to keep that information to themselves, for whatever reason, and that's your right, but I do find it easier to know on what level to converse.

Anyone else feel the same, or shall I just shut up!
