I would have loved to have heard the Clash remake a Beatles or Lennon song. That would have been cool no matter what.

I don't know. But some remakes are the worst. I suppose the worst cover ever recorded was Michael Jackson's 'Come Together'. The worst!

Marilyn Manson to do Let It Be. Rolf Harris to do Across The Universe (with wobble board of course.)
Anything irreverant really. Just to remind us that all this shouldn't be taken too seriously.

the aussie comedian Kevin "Bloody" Wilson does a scathing satire of Harris in "Why Doesn't Rolf Harris Just ****-off and die"..it's one of the funniest things I ever heard. Nobody in the States even remembers anymore the guy who did "Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport" so when you said you'd  like to see him do a Beatles cover, I nearly fell over ..haha :D good one.

a login & password...for what?  to get these songs that you posted?  I didn't.  Are you referring to getting other songs from their website or someplace else?

World Party did a sweet version of "Man We Was Lonely" from the McCartney tribute album.

Every single Beatles remake i've never really been a fan of because i've never liked new, nowadays music. and when i listen to The Beatles, i listen to those beautiful, unique , 60s voices, not some new band i've never heard of  :X
