Pope John Paul George! HAH! That would be so cool.  And I guess it would be way too much to ask for a Ringo thrown in there  ;D

Yea seems everyone is moving and getting new stadiums.  Even the NY Giants are.  That would be so cool is the Yankees had been in NJ.  (I was born in NJ).  I mean they call them the NY Giants & Jets but they play in NJ!!!! Go NJ Devils! HAHHAHA

I totally dissappointed. Now I'm going to make my dad drive me all the way their before they tear it down. If it's a historical landmark they can't tear it down, so it probably isn't.

I don't think New Yorkers would have been thrilled having to go to Jersey for a Yankee game. Plus that would just be so WRONG!  ;)

:o I had every intention of going there and crying and screaming as if they were currently playing. And taking pictures of the grass.  :o

People always want bigger and better.  And in some ways that's great.  But sometimes we got to just LET IT BE.

I think Candle Stick Park is still standing.  But I just still can't believe Shea is being torn down.  That's "holy ground" to Beatles' fans.  It is for me at least...............

^^^^^^^That is sooooooooooo sad, Bobber.  I guess they had to make room for the Yankee's monstrosity of a stadium that's being built.............
