You need to get yourself some Virgin Media mate! Has this thing called V+ where you can record up to 80 hours of TV onto a harddrive. It's amazing. The playback's as good as live TV. I've already preset this to record tonight incase I fall asleep or something.

Its out on Dvd on Monday anyway so i'll be getting it.
It always annoys me when i have to set my video & my timer
runs out 10 mins before the film ends.
Whats the point when i can just buy the dvd, don't know if any extra's
will be on there though.  8)

So Lennon-People, what did you think to the doc? if u had BBC.
I thought it was very interesting & it just shows how presidents are always
war mongers. Why did they feel threatend of a man who
spoke about Love & Peace, & was loved by so many people.
Beats me!

I haven't watched it, but i can try answer your comment Andy Smith. Johnnie can very well talk about Peace and Love and in that way he will appeal more to people. The president obviously doesn't want it because it is his country at the moment and not some pop star's (who might not even know "love" e.g Cyn). It seems that presidents operate on the bais of "action speaks louder than words". Perhaps they think that "ok now it's Peace and Love. The next thing he'll (John) be saying- take LSD ppl. i did it and look what a legend I become"

Talking (singing) about Peace and Love is all very well, but if nothing is done about it, it is sort of "in your way" type-of-thing. Metaphorically it's like a flower. The flower of love all blooming and colourful attracting all the insects. But what if this flower will start to consume these insects?

Yoko was doing the same and look what she did to John.

I dont like politics, I do like John and his songs. And what he did was actually good and sensible and i admire him for that.  I'm just trying to see it from the President's point of view.

Not really. UKTV seems to play old BBC programmes mainly. I suppose they are similar but I don't think they are the same company. I think UKTV pays BBC to use some of it's programming.
