No thread on this forum is ever truly ended. Decades later one of us revives it. So true! I love poking through old threads on here. There's a lot of interesting stuff. Wow you replied 12 years later Kathy Eric Clapton transcends time—for me, anyway. I sent my father this song—one of my top favorites to calm down—but he said the music obscured the lyrics and he didn't really "get" it. |

Yes he was pivotal. I’ve been relistening to a lot of their albums recently. His mellotron gave a unique aura to all of them when he was with the band.
Interesting that on X, John Lodge has posted a nice tribute. Justin hasn’t mentioned him though despite tweeting in the last few hours. |
