John Lennon speaking
« on: January 12, 2009, 12:04:43 PM »

Hi everybody!! ;)

As English is not my native tongue..., could anybody transcribe for me what is JL saying about bass strings and top strings at the beginning of
this video??
(=I mean after "...1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3...hold on hold on...")

Thank you in advance!! ;)

"I'm gonna raise this so it's nearer the base string than the top string."

Aha... Perfect!! ;) Thank you so much!! ;)

It's clear that he is referring to his guitar's mic...

Now, I'm wondering if the guitar playing the arpeggio before his saying "...Oh you're ready?? Macca??..." is GH's one or JL's one...

Anyway, It seems that GH says something like "...I was out..." after the false start...., doesn't he??

Best!! ;)

Yes. Maybe you are right...

Why, then, John stops the recording?? Is Ringo who makes the false start?? It seems that nylon-strung guitar mades a false start also..., doesn't it?? What do you think??
