That would certainly be a change of pace! But I think I’ve mentioned that I did have a live alarm, my mom. She had a repertoire that included “Lazy Mary, Will You Get Up?” Irving Berlin’s “ Oh How I Hate to Get up in the Morning” and my favorite…

That’s what happens when your mom was a WAVE!

My mom sang the Irving Berlin song to me when I was a kid.

Now, in keeping with this topic of discussion, if I had a more complicated clock radio which enabled me to have a specific wake-up alarm, I would have this Beatles song to wake me up...

Good choice. I used to play "I'm Only Sleeping" to my kids, but only in the car on the way to school.

I've always like their music, too, and I agree; their music is fun. It brings back so many fond memories from the 80s.

Yep! He was part of my college soundtrack!

I used an air horn with my three. They were not happy. I had to use it only once, and after that the threat worked.  ha2ha

I'm not surprised that worked!  ;D

Another good Beatles wake-up alarm song would be this...

1969 live performance

The Chambers Brothers performed gospel with Joan Baez at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival...

A year later, their souls got psychedelicized and they wrote and recorded Time Has Come Today.

This just happened again!  ha2ha Just got home. I heard "She Loves You" playing in the supermarket section.

This week it was "Get Back." I'm wondering whether the supermarket's chosen playlist must include the Beatles at a certain point in the lineup. Seems remarkably consistent.
