Seven locations, six photographers, four Beatles and a lot of photos…it all happened Sunday, July 28, 1968!

The “Mad Day Out” photo session

Mal Evans’ article in the September 1968 edition of the Beatles Monthly Book told the fans all about The Mad Day Out, along with information on the latest single.

So interesting; thanks for sharing that, Kelley.  I've recently been (halfheartedly, I admit) trying to track down more details about the Mad Day Out. I'm looking forward to reading this article.
