My favorite John songs are Twist and Shout and A Day In The Life.  Since Twist and Shout is a cover song I will go with A Day In The Life.

Across the Universe. Too beautiful for words. although for me, Twist and Shout is a close second. How different are those two songs???? That's how great the Beatles are  -  diversity beyond belief.

Beatlemania era - I Should Have Known Better

Folk-rock era - Nowhere Man

Psychedelic era - Tomorrow Never Knows

Later era - Across the Universe


It's really hard to decide! :( But my all time favorite Lennon song would probably be A Day in the Life.

I chose Across the Universe, though I do love I Am The Walrus too. Across the Universe is just amazingly poetic and I love it.  :)
