Had two of my wisdom teeth out yesterday... The anaesthetic is gone and now its painful....! Boohoohoo!

I hope you're feeling better soon. I still have mine but both my kids had theirs out when they were relatively young so I've witnessed it. Just remember; no drinking straws.

My 10-year-old son (my "little bear") left today for a 4-day, 3-night Boy Scout camp, 5 hours away. It's the longest time any of the kids has been away from the house, and he's the youngest! I know he's going to have a great time, but I am going into withdrawal.

My 10-year-old son (my "little bear") left today for a 4-day, 3-night Boy Scout camp, 5 hours away. It's the longest time any of the kids has been away from the house, and he's the youngest! I know he's going to have a great time, but I am going into withdrawal. 

I understand completely. It's still hard even when they are adults. I've had my 22 year old home for the last year and a half and it's going to be tough when she leaves for grad school in August.

Thanks Kathy! Now that she's finally found an apartment for herself and her two dogs I think she's getting excited. Sometimes it's hard to tell with her!

My dog Björn whom I've had since I was 5 years old is really sick, and we might have to put him down. How do you cope with something like this? It's somewhat comforting to know that it's for his best and he wouldn't be in any pain, but it still hurts...
