I despise the idea of taking anything off Sgt. Pepper. If you want to know which albums I would put singles as bonus tracks on, the obvious ones are:

Strawberry Fields/Penny Lane - Pepper
Hey Jude/Revolution - The White Album
Ballad of John and Yoko - The White Album
Lady Madonna - Abbey Road

In the UK there were loads of singles (plus B-sides) that weren't on LPs.

1963
From Me To You - I'll Get You
She Loves You - Thank You Girl
I Want To Hold Your Hand - This Boy

1964
I Feel Fine - She's A Woman

1965
(Ticket To Ride) - Yes It Is
(Help!) - I'm Down
We Can Work It Out - Day Tripper

1966
Paperback Writer - Rain

1967
Penny Lane - Strawberry Fields Forever
All You Need Is Love - Baby You're A Rich Man
Hello Goodbye - I Am The Walrus (available on MMT EP)

1968
Lady Madonna - The Inner Light
Hey Jude - Revolution (alternative version on 'White Album')

1969
Get Back (longer than Let It Be version) - Don't Let Me Down
The Ballad of John and Yoko - Old Brown Shoe

1970
Let It Be (different version to the Let It Be LP) - You Know My Name (Look Up The Number)

Remember, Magical Mystery Tour was only released as a double EP in the UK - the US LP was padded with extra tracks.

I hope this info is correct, as I wrote it in work from memory!! :)

I don't agree. Yes, Sgt. Pepper would've been so much better if Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane would've been on it, but since I have some very pleasant memories of When I'm Sixty-Four and because I think Mr. Kite is essential for the carnival-athmosphere of the album I really think those two should be on there.

There`s no need to take any original album song off one of the albums. There`s enough space on the CDs!

One could add "I Feel Fine" and "She`s A Woman" to "Beatles For Sale".

I think "We Can Work It Out" and "Day Tripper" would fit fine on "Rubber Soul", and of course SFF and PL should finally get their place on Sgt. Pepper (like it was originally intended).

They should have put "This Boy" on A Hard Day's Night... C'mon, it was Ringo's theme, people!
Oh yeah, and that guy was right about We Can Work It Out and Day Tripper being on Rubber Soul. It all fits in perfectly. The 45' was released the same time as the LP. There's only about four decent songs on Rubber Soul as it is, anyway.

Rubber Soul is my favourite album, and thus, my arguement against this opinion may damage my keyboard.

As much as I disagree with Revolution, let's not get immature over this and downgrade a person based on their opinion on an album.

I was contemplating whether I should reply to this based on my "garbage" remarks toward Plastic Ono Band and how hypocritical it may seem, but I'm going to reply anyway.

I used to think the Plastic Ono Band was a "garbage" album.

Well, I beg your pardon. The very nature of these forums is that we're all about opinions. I was merely expressing my opinion of my favourite songs on the album, and I know that many people disagree, and that's why I'm not promoting it as an established fact. You shouldn't bag people out because of their opinions, otherwise you have no right to share yours. If it's any consolation, I'm Looking Through You was one I overlooked.

Using that logic, you just got my opinion on what I thought of you calling the songs "crap", so what's the problem?

Would you also like to clarify what you mean by "bagging other opinions"? Were you even referring to me by that comment at all, because I don't see where I even possibly hinted at that.

Regardless, you still have yet to justify why the others are "crap." That's a very harsh word to use.  It doesn't matter whether it's an opinion or not -- for a song to be crap, it has to be played very bad, have an extremely bad sound, not be very pleasing, not the least bit catchy, etc., which is why I'm questioning your use of that word.

I thinks it's pretty well documented that Rubber Soul was one of The Beatles' greatest accomplishments, and is still regarded as one of the best albums of all time. If someone doesn't like it, that's fair enough, but to simply disregard it and call it "crap" seems quite unbelievable! In fact, I don't think I've ever heard a bad comment about Rubber Soul... till now that is! :)

I am a huge Beatle fan, but Abbey Road is my least favourite of their albums - that's MY opinion of another classic, but I would never call it crap simply because it's not in my CD player all the time.
