"Give My Regards To Broad Street " would adapt quite well to the stage , it's got the right thin storey line a few good tunes .All you need is a load of sweaty toothy leg warmers singing lets put on a show , and Bob's your uncle it will open and close in a fortnight .(jumping)
Hey guys, don't knock Broad St!! I have very fond memories of going to a tiny old cinema to see it (none of the big screens near us showed it for very long), my friend was sick half way through, and my dad complained about being cold and uncomfortable!! Happy days....
I saw it at a legendarily crummy second run cinema on Yonge Street in Toronto which has since been replaced by a porn shop. Happy days indeed.
haha, the one across from the Eaton's Center?? I saw it when I was in TO the other day LOL.
Nah, the old Rio just a little south of Gerrard on the east side of the street. I imagine the public health department closed them down. The place was that bad.
My question is, why hasn't Paul ever done any writing for Broadway? He's done practically everything else, I would think that this would be one of the first things he'd try!
