The Syracuse papers are reporting that two anniversary concerts will be held. I know one will be at the Bethel Arts Center; I wonder where the other one will be? I don't have a subscription to the paper so was unable to read the full article. Sounds like a recipe for chaos, though!

Kathy, the festival will be at Watkins Glen. I’m not even sure we’ll be able to do it but if we do I can stay at Kelsie’s place in Ithaca. I’m just waiting for more details on who is playing and what it will cost. And then there’s the question of being brave enough to go. lol

That's the "mega-set," 38 discs with just about every note played plus some assorted stuff. It's for the diehard collector.

The 10-disc set seems rational at $110.30 and comes with a booklet.

By the way, there was a 40th anniversary box set...

Bethel Wood Anniversary Weekend

Bethel Woods’ Season of Song & Celebration promises a uniquely memorable experience for those who journey to the historic site throughout the entire year. To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the greatest festival of all time on the hallowed ground where it actually happened, Bethel Woods will offer a variety of special programming for those attending Anniversary Weekend events, exclusive for concert ticket holders. Guests will be able to access the upper campus Friday, August 16 – Sunday, August 18 for the day(s) they have a purchased concert ticket for to enjoy a multitude of pre-show festivities, which will consist of live music, craft vendors, adult-art making, and games- all of which are included with in your concert ticket! Also on-site will be a plethora of food and beverage options available to purchase.

As we will be at capacity during the Anniversary Weekend (August 15-18), the venue, including the Museum, historic site and parking areas, will be closed to the general public and only accessible to event/concert ticketholders.

Anyone who wishes to visit during Anniversary Weekend must have an event ticket. and all attending an event/concert during Anniversary Weekend will need to have a Travel Pass to enter the traffic pattern of Bethel Woods.

Well, I'll be up in The Catskills this weekend, Kelley. I won't be going to Bethel Woods, though. I don't know what this "Travel Pass" is but it looks like I'll be eating at The Goshen Diner rather than at one of the restaurants in the Bethel area.

My papers aren't in order.
