I actually found that video and watched it a few nights ago so perhaps I was responsible for the snow! But now they're using the term "polar vortex " in this weekend's forecast. I don't know what I could have done to bring that on.

Hmm, Barry, it must have been something else I did. I am an outspoken proponent of butter over margarine! But I do remember that commercial very well. It contributed to my misguided assumption that raccoons were cute little creatures. ;)

I didn't know that Apple had my favorite scene from HELP! on YouTube. I guess that's a Beatles clip that won't get removed.

That is one phrase that needs to be struck from common parlance ASAP. I wish the media would give it a rest!

I agree! Someone trotted that phrase out during the first of the two awful winters. I think it was the Weather Channel. They love drama.

Margarine was originally developed as turkey food! problem was, it killed the turkey's! They made it people food instead and we all lived happily ever after. I think i read it is one or two molecules away from plastic!

Oh by the way, it was a nice but cool day here.

Yeah, I saw all that on Facebook but Snopes says it isn't true. But I certainly think it tastes bad enough to kill a turkey!

Well, tomorrow's supposed to be almost Alright!  Wisssssshhhhhh......Wisssssshhhhhh......Yeah! but not quite. (It has to be at least 70, right?) But then it starts to go downhill Friday and it's only going to be 28 on Sunday! And it's not even gonna get out of the 40's in the foreseeable future. Unless, of course, the forecast is wrong. Come to think of it, that's got to be the longest stretch of cold weather we've had all winter.  ;D

Something just awful, I think. The weather's not even the worst of my problems right now. The worst thing is that I need a root canal! If the antibiotic doesn't start working soon I'm going to go looking in the garage for the Dremel tool!
