Stuck on an Island
« on: September 21, 2005, 02:22:22 PM »

Okay, here's a weird situation: Let's say you were stuck on an island with one guy/girl that could only sing 5 Beatles songs, but he/she could sing all of them as close to the originals as you could get. What 5 songs would you pick and why? (I have no idea why you would care about what songs they sing if you're stuck on an island but I'm being creative ;D)

Tomorrow Never Knows: Only song I can day dream to...just look at the first 2 lines
Yellow Submarine: Maybe if I listen to it long enough it would actually come.
Got to Get You Into My Life: Why not
Across the Universe (naked version): Just that great
Magical Mystery Tour: No idea why, just a good song

I meant Island...the d on this keyboard tends to not respond at times.

Ehrm, Revolution 9 :)

Nah..

I'll go with "Michelle" 'cos I love it when it is sung by a girl. I'll provide some harmonies, yeah, so we can have this boy/girl vocal interplay going.

Gotta have "I've Got A Feeling" too. ("I've got a feeling, a feeling deep inside oh yeah..)

"Across The Universe." I really fancy a Karen Carpenter-like singing. That'd be perfect.

"Nowhere Man" and "She's Leaving Home" too.

Hey Jude- Long, and it is my all-time favorite song anyway
Oh! Darling- For when I need to be pumped up
I've Just Seen a Face- Never could get sick of that one.
All You Need is Love- a good song, plus, maybe it would give the guy romatic ideas.
Let it Be- For when I'm depressed at the fact that I'm stuck on an island.

For No One
Penny Lane
The Long And Winding Road

Because these are probably my 5 most favorite Beatles songs.
