You know you're a fan when: You see an old Beatles clip on tv and you try to say to your friend that it's the Beatles in a normal voice and end up saying what you wanted to say in high shrieking voice making my friend get the worst headache of her life.

You know you're a Beatles fan when you're in a seminar and the class is asked to give an example of a song that's self-confessional and perhaps full of guilt, and someone on the other side of the room says "Jealous Guy", so you shoot upwards in your seat and stare at the person across the room with a crazed look of happiness on your face. Then when the teacher says "who's that by?" and he says "John Lennon", and she mishears him and repeats "sorry I didn't catch that, who's it by?", you have to physically restrain yourself from screaming "JOHN LENNON IT'S JOHN LENNON AND IT'S A REALLY GOOD SONG AND IT'S ABOUT HIMSELF AS A PARTNER AND HE'S SORRY ABOUT THE WAY HE ACTED AND AND AND I LOVE YOU JOHNNY!!!"

You know you're a Beatles fan when even though you don't approve of the way the clip is used, every time that "anti-retro" Citroen advert comes on TV, you get a happy tingle just because John's on the screen.

KE and I used to play The Sims quite a bit... but we only have the old The Sims Livin' Large. We did make a Beatles family though, even though the characters looked nothing like them

When you've finally, slowly, converted your friend to becoming a fan.
The thing is, I honestly hardly did anything to covert her, she's always liked 'oldies' music (as she says).
Then a few weeks ago she finally mentions a Beatles song she likes that's NOT an overplayed radio song.
"I really like 'If I Fell' and 'I Love Her'." She tells me.
I had put some albums on her iPod ages back, but really only thier earlier stuff and she wanted to get rid of 'most of the songs she didn't know'.
She's been my best friend for years and she's never dissed The Beatles, I just think she's becoming a true fan.
I bought her a small Beatles book for her birthday last week.

You know you're a fan when you see Beatles footage and has music blocking the sound with something else you know what The Beatles are actally saying for example was watching the music video of Yellow Submarine and when clips of the film came on I remember what the lines were

You know you're a Beatles fan when you get to a seminar early, and since there's a piano in the room, you decide to have a little tinkle on it before your tutor arrives. This "little tinkle" turns into a rousing rendition of "Martha My Dear" that grows about four extra verses and choruses, getting louder and louder each time, until your tutor enters the room, sits down and says with a smirk "please, carry on!"

I think I'll have to restrain myself from attacking pianos with Beatles songs every time I see them!
