I bought Poltergeist ( 1982) on DVD yesterday it's just got it's first DVD release in the Uk , it's a a film ive been after for many years as it was a favourite of mine from the 80's.
I had'nt seen it in a good 15 years and i most say it's still a cracking little film ? , the special effects still hold up really well, i love the skeletons in the swimming pool and the scene when the ghost hunter is washing his face and it falls to pieces in the wash basin .
I like the pot smoking parents and the funny little women Tangina who plays the medium remember her she speaks like a child ?
The kids in the film are really good too Carol Anne (Heather O'Rourke ) who died making Poltergist 3 was a talented little actress , she would have been in her 30's now had she lived .
Anyone else like this film ? it's been remasterd and looks and sounds great
