You ate it all? Ah, rats! I'll just have to go down the street and see what they have. You haven't been there have you?  glassesslip

Well, now, if you make a left going out that driveway you'll wind up in the boondocks.  But if you make a right, after a couple of miles you'll get to Watkins Glen.  There are a few ice cream shops along the main drag that I didn't go to.

I was talking about the boondocks...here! We've got that new place down the street from my house. I thought you might have hit every place in NY!  :P

If I had the time, I would!

That sounds like a good idea for a reality show on the Food Network. I'd watch it!

That would be a riot!  But I have become a soft chocolate ice cream connoisseur.   ;D

Ticket Presale is going on now.  Public Onsale starts tomorrow.  Ticketmaster shows plenty of good seats available for Paul's NYC area concerts in September.

And at The Carrier Dome in Syracuse for you, Kelley.  Turn left at Greenland...I mean Otisco Lake.    ;)

All I'm seeing is seats priced at $700 and up. I could still drive there and get ice cream.  ;D

I think those are the Presale VIP seats, Kelley.  Public Onsale starts tomorrow.  I still think seats will be more available and more reasonably priced in the NYC area.

I'm glad you did.  It's what drove John off to find new inspiration...

Paul was a bit infatuated at the time...

Oh, wow. I knew you'd mentioned the original version of this song before but I don't think I ever heard it. It's fun to hear all the different versions. Mary's version gets a lot of airplay on Sirius XM. When I'm sure that no one's home I crank it up and sing along, just like my mom used to do in 1968. LOL The ending in this video is a bit different than the one on the record. Anyway, it this was a nice way to clear out that scary but accurate Yoko impression before I try to go to sleep.  :)

My grandmother would sing that song to me.  She first heard it like this...

Is the English translation true to the original intent of the lyrics?
