Presidential Debate/Boxing
« on: September 30, 2004, 10:50:12 PM »

Well the debate is tonight and I think we can all guess how its going to go.

On an unrelated topic Kerry vs Bush in fight.  Kerry could stiff arm him and wail him hes so tall but I bet bush would use some dirty tactics ie. ball kicking.

It's just started! It would be more interesting if they could directly address each other, but I know it'll be good. I wonder how dumb Bush is going to come off tonight.

Well "W" lived up to your expectations, He showed he is a moron. His answeres consisted of Iraq being the biggest threat and that was about it.

Wow,

Okay. Personal thoughts on the debate:

President didn't sound as confused as I expected. He also didn't come off as strongly as I think a president should in a reelection debate, what with the momentum of the knowledge of the past four years on his side.
Kerry came off pretty strongly. I think he could've managed to change some minds on his ability to lead.
I was surprised it wasn't more forceful of a debate. There seemed to be a lot of lack time which can be used effectively to make a lot of points.

I thought bush stuttered and made an ass of himself.  I May like Kerry or I may not but either way he came off a whole hell of a lot better.

I must admit I don't know much about Kerry as a politician (but since I think 99% of all people in America would make a better president than Dubya I support him anyway), but he seems to me like a smart and reasonable guy. And a hell of a lot more intelligent than Dubya.

Bush = reality, deal with it
Kerry = fantasy, deal with it also

LOL   I think we need to sit down and study the definition of 'reality'.

Bush had the same answer fro nearly every question.  He also looked very nervous.  One of my teachers put it on mute and analyzed his body language and it showed lack of confidence.  Hopefully Kerry will pull farther ahead after the next two cause hes down quite a bit in the polls.

The only thing that Bush has to use against Kerry (and therefore he will keep using this argument until we're all bored to death) is that he maybe changed his mind about some issues... SO *BLEEP*ING WHAT? It's better to change your mind every once in a while than to stay dumb forever...
