Fave Beatles song/album of the moment
« on: February 15, 2005, 06:38:43 PM »

Yo All!...theres so many threads on fave this and fave that....I can never decide as my thoughts and preferences change over time and mood....I like it all....Sometimes I swing on a Lennon tip..then a Paul vibe....Sometimes George grabs my earlobes....I thought I 'd start a thread where you can just say what your into right now and maybe why...It's only because I find it hard to vote on all these topics...I mean for me I just love loads of it with no real massive preference... Sometimes I love Abbey rd....Then it's the White album...sometimes Rubber Soul...Hard Days Night etc...etc..
I know theres more out there that might like to big up a song or album and not feel committed that that is their final vote or decision...So for all the undecideds, this is for you.

Right now? I'm bang into White album...Lovin 'Glass Onion', 'Dear Prudence' and I'm So Tired in particular.  Their handclaps got me guessing all the time at the mo!!!! lol

I think it's especially the horn that makes For No One so good.

At the moment,

Norwegian Wood/The Beatles 1962 - 1966 (Even though I usually dread and despise "Greatest Hits!" albums and such)

Yeah great line. Choosin that french horn was genius stroke, a muted trumpet would not have been quite the same. Thats another thing about Beatles, their choice of instrumentation is normally spot on.
