As a member I got in early. Had a glass of wine and looked around the exhibition for about an hour. When Paul and Linda turned up they signed a couple of autographs for me, and had a brief chat. And I do mean brief! Then the place was engulfed, so I left. Went to see a band in The Hole In The Wall (I think), which is now a restaurant, I believe?

The Hole in the Wall is a restaurant, yes. I didn't know they used to have live music. I think it was once run by the people behind Moles nightclub next door, which still gets a lot of bands. Could it have been there that you went? THITW has been a restaurant for as long as I can remember, and if they did live music in 1992 it must have stopped shortly afterwards.

Yes, my mistake, it was Moles. Don't remember who I saw though.

Wonderful stories everyone! After reading this thread I must say I am extremely jealous! I try not to be jealous because nothing good comes of it, but it is hard not to be!

I did get to see Ringo in concert and I am very pleased about that.  And i hope to see Paul the next time he comes around.

HeatherBoo, you and I are in the same boat.  I got to see Ringo Starr in concert recently and had a lovely time.  Ringo looks absolutely fantastic for a man who is approaching 70!

I'm also hoping that Paul will tour as well.  If he'll be in concert anywhere near my area, I'll get tickets for sure.

I would love to meet a Beatle but the chances of that happening are very slim, so I'm happy to settle just for seeing one at a concert!

JEALOUS!!!!!  I really wanted to see Ringo but his concerts were at casinos which are 19+ here, and he played 2 casinos really close to where I live, but the first was 1 month before I turned 19 and then the next was EXACTLY 1 week before my 19th!!!!!!

Hey Jude that is so lame! So close but yet so far!

Yes I am just happy to say that I got to see Ringo in person.  And I WILL see Paul the next time he does a show anywhere in California or surrounding area.

That's so sad.  I have heard of younger fans complaining about Ringo playing in casinos where they could not get in because of their age.  Maybe Ringo thinks that he doesn't have any younger fans?  (Which is, of course, not true!)   :(  He needs to rethink his venues!
