nice article, wish it were longer
the idea of optimism came up when I was talking about the show we saw in Boston a few weeks ago with my family. That word does describe, for the most part, his pov and theme that does come across in songs.
At 80 now, it is like a rude awakening (me not being optimistic) that he will be gone someday. Very glad he still tours, very glad he brings me and so many others pleasure in what he does and has done.
