Penny Lane, I like them all, but I'll list my favorite Season One episodes:

"The Enemy Within"
"The Menagerie, Parts I and II"
"Balance of Terror"
"The Squire of Gothos"
"Tomorrow Is Yesterday"
"Court Martial"

Joan Marshall (Lt. Areel Shaw, prosecuting attorney) is gorgeous.  But a true girlfriend would have recused herself from prosecuting Kirk.  So I don't care much for her.  Kirk should not have kissed her on the bridge.  He should have transported her to some frozen planet thousands of parsecs away.

"Space Seed"   Bravo, Ricardo Montalbán!  Great acting!
"This Side of Paradise"
"The City on the Edge of Forever"   Heart-wrenching conclusion.  The expression on Kirk's face both at the accident scene and on the bridge sums up the meaning of Captain James T. Kirk.

Dr. McCoy: You deliberately stopped me, Jim. I could have saved her. Do you know what you just did?
Spock: He knows, Doctor. He knows.

I think a true lawyer would have excused herself from prosecuting someone that close to her. I thought something like that would've been a breach of ethics.  But anyway, yes, lots of good episodes you named.  I adore "Court Martial"!

And "City on the Edge of Forever", what a sad episode. The ending is just heart-breaking...poor, poor Kirk. :(

^ LOL, cool. Thanks, HG!  ;D

I have some Bones quotes on my Facebook profile:

"I'm a doctor, not a bricklayer!" & "I'm a doctor, not an escalator!"

"I'd give real money if he'd shut up."

If you don't already have it posted, consider Dr. McCoy's feelings about the transporter (from The Space Seed):

"I signed on this ship to practice medicine, not to have my atoms scattered back and forth across space by this gadget."

Hahaha. I think I need a book of Dr. McCoy quotes or something. I'm starting to believe he has the best lines in the show (and the ST films).

or being summoned to the jury... Honestly, this is the third time in the space of less than half a year that they called me to the jury! And I'm the only one in the family that been called up. Talk about "your name has been randomly selected...." Sheesh!
