I never liked his grungy stuff that he did with crazy Horse , I don't know it just seems like the songs weren't that good not real melodies, I love his first album entitled simply Neil Young and I love After the gold rush they are true songwriters albums in my opinion, I don't think he's written a good song for many many years now he just keeps repeating himself lol
I saw him once in Birmingham England I think it was in the 80s he just played a load of grungy noise and came over like some drunken homeless guy who couldn't sing in tune and couldn't play guitar properly, needless to say I wasn't impressed.
