I don't know the answers to your questions loco however I was thinking about Fleetwood Mac I've always been a big fan of the original Fleetwood Mac when Peter Green was the main man, singer songwriter and superlative guitarist, although I like some of the tracks on Rumours I can't help but keep comparing them to the original Band which I much preferred.

Well, nimrod, I finally made the effort to look up the meanings.  Here's what I gathered:

Sarah's about Stevie's aborted baby.  The dad was Don Henley.  Also, Stevie had a friend named Sarah, so it could have been about her, too.  (I almost cried when I read about the aborted baby.)

New Kid in Town may have been about Bruce Springstein who came along around that time.  Henley said something about the new kid in town being a new star who might displace you from your place in the charts or the fans' hearts.

Interesting Loco. I didn’t know that.

For any fans of Mike Pinder (ex Moody Blues) this track "Float" might be interesting.
One of my favourite 70's bands was Barclay James Harvest, they had their own keyboard Mike Pinderesque player who also wrote kind of deep and somewhat spiritual songs. This is one of his.

BJH never made it in the USA, but they were very big in Europe and once played to 100,000 outside the Reichstag Building in Berlin. They were quite similar to the Moody Blues.

A lot of Beatle fans think Hold Me Tight is a bit sub standard and Pauls singing is off key, but Ive always loved it.

The backing always sounds like a train to me, especially at the end where it slows down :)

It's not Christmas if you don't have Bing and his Irish take on things.  ;D

Absolutely Kathleen! I can still hear my mom singing along with this. Of course she had a brogue going on when she did. LOL

BTW, I took Ancestry’s DNA test and it showed that I’m Scotch-Irish. My mother’s paternal grandmother always made that claim but as the years have gone by some of us began wondering if that were true. I learned at a genealogy workshop that it was somehow considered classier to have one’s Irish blood tempered with some Scottish heritage. I don’t believe that but I always did wonder if Bridget was telling the truth! I’m glad to know she was honest.  :)

Oh, that is interesting, Kelley! I keep meaning to pursue ancestry exploration. When I have more time (and money), I will.

That's interesting, too, about it being classier to have one's Irish blood tempered with Scottish. I don't believe there are any Scots among my ancestors, but I suppose if I take the Ancestry DNA test I will know for sure. I know my mother simulataneously loved and detested her own Irish heritage, which proved pretty confusing while I grew up.  ;)

It really is possible to get started for free. The time element, however, can be problematic. It sure can suck a person in, especially when you’re having success. If I can be of any help, just let me know!

You do know that humans have ~99.9% of their DNA in common.  These ancestry labs test those portions of DNA that differ from one person to another but their computer programs are based on anecdotal reports given by donors as to their countries of origin.  Thus, there are lots of errors in ancestry reports.  Identical twins have submitted their saliva samples to the same lab and have received differing reports.
