Napster never had this, to my frustration, but a couple of months ago I switched to Spotify and found it! Love this song.

It seems timely, too. From American Songwriter: "Gabriel used it as a jumping-off point to make some social commentary about the childish behavior of the world leaders making life-or-death decisions on behalf of their countries."

Great tune. Peter Gabriel had a purple patch from around 1980 to 86. His stuff was always interesting.

Listened to some Jethro Tull for the first time in decades. Forgot how many songs I knew of theirs.

And had forgotten this one. Funny in a way that they were singing about ageing rockers when even the oldest of the 60s stars were still in their mid thirties. I imagine Ian Anderson is still singing this in concert.

Their sweet spot was early 70s with Aqualung and the following three or four albums. Aqualung is a good place to start but there’s good stuff on most of their albums. They’ve actually released an album in 2022 which on first listen is pretty interesting and went top 10 in the UK and US.
