Debbie Allen played Anita but I don't remember which theater it was.

You saw it at The Minskoff Theatre...

  Who did your brother play?

Sound crew guy.  ;) He was a wonderful singer and guitarist but I don't remember ever seeing him dance much, except when he did his Pips impression. (As in Gladys Night and the....)

Well, if you go up there to look for it and if you should see any holes where the rain gets in, fix them!

That was my first time in NYC and I was wide-eyed the whole time to say the least!

You should have let me know you were coming to town!

Oh, you would have loved that. The 16 year old me was even goofier than the current version.  ha2ha

If that's possible.  ;)

The Netflix review of Carousel was very superficial.  I feel the musical has a much deeper meaning than that.  Rodgers and Hammerstein's second musical collaboration following Oklahoma met with differing reviews, but I think the story, which they based on a European play, is very meaningful and leads to a lot of introspection.  I get "misty" at certain parts, but that's OK.

I'm looking forward to watching it. I have a feeling it's going to be an interesting experience for me.

It will be.  There will be several parallels to your own life.  I think Rodgers and Hammerstein wrote a brilliant story, set to music, where each person who sees it will recognize him or herself in some way.  It's a story that makes one think.
