We had 4 inches of snow today in this part of New Jersey (just a dusting to you, Kathy). We were lucky. East of here they got a foot and a half of snow out on Long Island.

Massive ice storm here. Tree fell on the side of one of my cars, but its a jumker anyways so I dont care. Trees down everywhere. Powers out, but I have a generator which is outside running in the freezing rain right now. Cant wait to put gas in it in the middle of the night (working). I'm either going to get shocked or its going to catch on fire lol. Internet is out so i'm connected through my hotspot. Luckily the rain is going to turn to snow in 6 or so hours. Good times.

At least I dont have to drive anywhere so theres that.

That band of precipitation currently extends from Texas up to Maine. Temperatures here in my part of New Jersey will stay above freezing until the rain ends tomorrow.

Nope. Power company said hopefully Sunday in the afternoon now. Luckily my generator broke down today. Staying at my mothers house. She had a whole house generator installed before she passed. I'm working again tonight so it looks like another day without sleep as i'm going to try and borrow another generator tomorrow and I need to cut some firewood. Got to love winter.
